At the beginning there was a high-finesse cavity

Based on a patented technology and years of research, our technology come from a fiber-based Fabry-Perot microcavity with unrivaled properties. As a spin-off of the Atom Chips Group, our partnership with from Kastler Brossel Laboratory allows us to benefit from years of development on optical microcavities. Initially developed to improve quantum technologies, those fiber-based Fabry-Perot microcavities feature exceptional properties. Its laser-machined mirrors enable extremely high finesse (F>100.000), combined with microscopic waist and mode volume. Originally designed for experiments on atomic qubit detection and cavity with Bose-Einstein condensates, they have been adopted dozens of collaborative research laboratories in quantum applications and beyond.

A game changer in gas analysis

Our fiber-based Fabry-Perot microcavity with an extraordinary finesse (>100,000) transforms gas analyzers. It provides unprecedented sensitivity for detecting and quantifying gases with exceptional precision. This innovation is a game changer, revolutionizing environmental monitoring, industrial safety, and scientific research involving gas analysis.

Future Progress

Using this FFP technology as a basis in our Compact Gas Analyzer, it has allowed us to greatly diminish the weight and bulk from our prototypes. Through this, our Gas Analyzer will be placed onto a drone and be available as a handheld device for rapid deployment over large spaces and ease of use, respectively.

Our Journey
