Mirega’s Gas Analyzer combines over a decade of research into a compact, precise detector.
Designed for daily use in a variety of environments, delivering consistently accurate results.
Featuring patented fiber Fabry–Perot technology developed in France.
The analyzer measures gas the same way our filters select light: with a high-finesse fiber Fabry-Perot cavity. Light bounces thousands of times between the two mirrors, so a molecule sitting in the cavity is sampled over an effective path length far longer than the instrument that contains it. That is what lets a handheld device reach detection limits normally requiring a much larger instrument.
Changing the target molecule is a question of which wavelength is addressed, not of new hardware. CO2 and CH4 are the first two; others follow the same path.
